Known Defect!!!

I purchased this fridge new in Black. On the 366 day of ownership, it went out and threw a code. We called an Appliance tech and they immediately knew the issue over the phone.. the main circuit board. It's a design flaw and we have contacted Fridgidaire but they never helped. So, once a year I have to purchase a new board and have it installed. They go out because of the location of condensate lines and water accumulates in the circuit board housing and ruins it. Ridiculous. This fridge is decent, if it weren't for that. The shelving is flimsy but not a deal breaker. I have replaced so many boards, I now know how to do it myself.

We love our freezer and zero complaints. It’s big enough for everything we need. Have noticed very little increase in energy bill. Overall great product.

I see that thia product is already discontinued. This means that there was a problem with it.. My fridge makes lots of noise , it is so annoying that it makes it unbearable watching TV in the living area since i have an open concept home design, doors are not alligned, tge door shelves are so flimsy.. Do not recommend this fridge.
