Bad Microwave

After 2 and 1/2 years of not a lot of use it blew, when I called the service people they said that "these microwaves are known for doing this" I've tried to contact Frigidaire to no avail. So now I will be reaching out to our local news affiliates who do investigative stories on bad products and companies, and this email will be given to them along all the BBB complaints and other similar reviews.

Our microwave started popping fuses at only 18 months old. A week after, it blew the fuse breaking or more like blowing it in pieces and you could smell the wiring. Very disappointed in the product line. The stove died within months and the fridges light has never worked and the plastic on the shelf broke. We have our house listed to sale and this is very inconvenient, to say the least.

I bought this Frigidaire gallery 1000 W microwave 5 years ago and it started popping it’s fuse in the garage, come to find out the magnetron has gone bad and repair costs exceeds the price of the unit. I think a top of the line unit should last more than 5 years as my previous GE lasted for 12 years.
