We bought a king size mattress along with a RIZE bedframe 5 years ago. An investment of around $5k. We were hoping that the mattress would have latest a good 10 years. We were wrong. We replaced our Temper-Pedic firm mattress for this Serta product and now wish that we hadn't. It started off being very comfortable and then slowly we realized that we were sinking more and more. I would say after the 2nd year was when I started to rotate the mattress a 1/4 turn just to try and get back some of the firmness that we were used to from the beginning. (since flipping isn't an option) I'm about to rotate another turn which will bring me back to my original hole. We are not extra large folks. I'm 5'10 225ish....and my wife is much less. So it looks like we will have to invest in a new mattress pretty soon. Generally speaking, we spend half our life in our beds. Some more, some less. It's important to have a mattress that will perform for you for many years. This one did not unfortunately for us. At the time pricing wasn't a concern for us so I can't answer on how competitive or comparative this product is to other mattresses.

Best thing I've ever bought on Amazon, not kidding I very rarely write reviews (although I should), but I had to for this mattress. This is hands down the best thing I've ever bought online, and trust me, 90% of everything I buy comes from online. I love this mattress so much I swear I've become a Serta brand rep for the company. For the first week it was all I could talk about. When we starting shopping for a larger bed, I did A LOT of research. I looked for weeks and thought it was too good to be true when I found this online. I was also nervous because I've never bought a mattress without testing it in person, l. My husband is also very particular and likes a really soft bed while I like mine more firm. But let me just tell you, this mattress is everything it promises and then some. I kid you not, it is the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. It is the perfect combination of soft yet firm. The fabric is so soft you could sleep on it without any sheets. You literally sink into the top like clouds. I'm not sure it's possible, but my husband might love this bed even more than I do.
