The KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series 7 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer features a powerful, 1.3 HP Motor. Horsepower for our mixer motors was measured using a dynamometer, a machine laboratories routinely use to measure the mechanical power of motors. Our 1.3 horsepower (HP) motor reference reflects the horsepower rating of the motor itself and not the mixer's horsepower output to the mixer bowl. This robust motor, the backbone of our new mixer, delivers .44 HP to the bowl enabling your mixer to deliver consistent power to small and large loads with less heat build-up; resulting in years of dependable mixing. When combined with and guided by our new advanced motor control board, this is our longest lasting and most efficient motor yet. Simply put, our new, highly efficient, special purpose motor delivers the power you need when you need it.

For Everything You Want To Make

Turn your stand mixer into the culinary center of your kitchen. With over 10 different attachments, you can make everything from fresh pasta to burgers, veggie noodles, ice cream and more.

Professional Bowl-Lift Design

For sturdy bowl support and stability when mixing heavy ingredients or large batches. The lever smoothly raises the mixing bowl into position for efficient beater-to-bowl contact.

10 Speeds

Great Product but Frustrated

I have used Kitchen Aid Products for close to 30 years now. I recently replaced my 6 quart mixer with this 7 quart model. The first unit came broken in the box and had to be returned to the store - a huge inconvenience the week of Thanksgiving when I needed to do a lot of baking. I completely understand, as these things happen. The store graciousely returned the unit and I have been using the new model very happily until today when I was unable to remove the paddle unit after making a batch of cookies. It is unable to be removed after multiple attempts. This is like nothing I have ever experienced with any KitchenAid products. I do not have the box any longer, but have registered the purchase with KitchenAid. Needless to say, I am very frustrated that this is the second unit that I am going to have to return now with the 7 quart model.

I bought this with great expectations. I have to dig out a hand mixer to whip egg whites or cream because the whisk attachment does not reach all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Furthermore, it is difficult to attach the bowl to the mixer. My kids say they wish I still used our old smaller kitchen aid.

I purchased this mixer in January. It was a big splurge to upgrade from the standard size. I bake a lot, and often in large batches, so I was so excited about the quiet, stronger motor, and the large bowl. Almost immediately the machine started clicking when I used it, particularly when using the dough hook. In addition, the small metal piece on the neck started producing metal shavings, which I thankfully noticed before it fell into my food and seriously injured somebody. Also, the wisk and blades don't completely reach the bottom, so the there a small layer of whatever I'm making that doesn't ever get mixed in. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed.

I have a new 7 qt Kitchenaid mixer, and just made bread dough with 4 cups of flour. The mixer makes a clicking sound, like the metal gears are not working together properly. I have read that these mixers are prone to gear failure. This is a very troubling clicking sound.

Major paint quality control problems

I have had multiple units shipped to me and each one has had a serious paint flaw, including one with an embedded hair and one with an embedded wire or plastic string. It begs the question: what is wrong with quality control and does this extend to the inner workings? I am ready to pull my hair out in sheer frustration.
