i have 4 samsung and 1 sony oldest samsung 2012 65 inch great picture since bought all you people with negative reviews go pound salt

bought samsung 43" nu7100 model in spring 2019. had great colors. remote wasn't easy but i figured it and tv features after a couple of days. after 18 months, 6 months out of warranty it won't turn on. went thru allbthe syeps with support. seems i have a real problem. they want minimum $200 labor plus parts. this could easily be more than what the tv costs. going back to sony.

this tv only seems to have about and 18 month lifespan, as mentioned in other posts. the right side is significantly darker tgan the left, while the left has like a “curtain” effect going on with the lighting. moderate use: roughly a movie and maybe a few shows on the weekends, and maybe a show or two on weeknights. repair estimate:$200. :-l overall this product is garbage. save yourself some money or spend a little more and buy something more relaible.

remote control has no backlight, no easy keys, cant control any other devices, just a terrible user interface for a decent tv. tv has great picture, but its too smart for easy use. really frustrating for kids who in-turn have to ask me to do everything. if it aint kid friendly, its useless. dont rely on the stands either. another poor samsung design effort. its not like they dont make enough profit to put a decent stand on a 43" or 55" tv.
