Icemaker quit, water dispenser quit, now freezer

Bought 4 years ago. Icemaker quit last month, now water dispenser, now freezer defrosted. Wiring harness in bottom of freezer door chafed wired broken. Cannot buy wiring harness, Whirlpool says replace the door $800 and if may be back ordered. If I have the repairman come look he will charge $80 to tell me the same thing. Might be able to fix the freezer but ice maker and water maker no chance. Buying a new fridge and it won't be a Whirlpool

I bought a whirlpool WRS526SIAH00 a mere 6 years ago and have had numerous issues with it. The temperature of the refusing all over the map. I am now waiting to have a repair man come out yet again. I’m so over having to put my food in coolers to tinker with this darn thing. It looks nice but was the worst appliance I have ever purchased! Seriously considering scrapping this thing and buying a different refrigerator even though it’s not in my budget right now.

I’ve had this unit just over two years and most features work well. The ice maker and some of the engineering is a joke though. The wire harness at the base of the freezer door has broken in half several times from normal door usage, causing the ice maker and dispenser to stop working. Just out of warranty too. Whirlpool does not stand behind their product and offered no effort to fix their design flaws. Whirlpool has lost me as a customer.

Refrigerator is only a few years old and temperature swings all over the place. Freezes liquids in the refrigerator then later its too warm. Things in the freezer get freezer burn from going warm then frozen. It only does this every few days so when the repair man came it was not in the failed state so he could not fix it and charged $90 dollars. Doors do not align properly. Ice bin turns into a large clump of solid ice. Rattles randomly. What a piece of junk! Whirlpool used to have good products, what happened? I am looking at having to purchase an entire new refrigerator and I am sooo not happy. Never again whirlpool!

Under warranty. Had five repair visits to fix but its still still broken. Whirlpool has replaced four parts so far. I give up. You win.
