I had this refrigerator in one state and loved it and even though it claim to fame is the new type of compressor it went within 1-year. I bought this frig when I moved but they made it cheaper and omitted a few features e.g. adjustable shelves in the front door compartment and temperature controls for the two freezer drawers. The seal to the frig doors dont keep the door closed tightly so when you close one door the opposite door pops open and you have to make sure to close them tightly together. Within 1-year the top of the top of the bottom freezer drawer developed a line for frost. After 1-year this happened again and the refrigerator froze everything. LG gave me a few trouble shooting suggestions which were guesses and none worked. I now have to hire a technician. It looks cool but not worth the money aggravation or lack of customer support. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

This is a beautiful refrigator. Unfortunately it just quit running on day I called LG this item is in a class action lawsuit. They were suppose to send me a new compressor To have installed me paying of course This item is much needed for the animals meds. 3 weeks later no compressor called 2 of the repairs that I have to use. Dont buy

The LG maintenance man was courteous and professional on solving the problem of my non working fridge. Everything was back to working great with 32-48 hours.

The ice maker system has broken down. There is no power from the door hinge to the ice make on the front. Brought an LG approved technician who told me the unit is not repairable. Called tech support at LG who told me that they cannot do anything. Pretty much a shame that I cannot have the ice/water system working.

Replacement air filter doesnt fit

Who manufactures a refrigerator that the replacement air filters dont fit..and I have to waste hours explaining to support for them to tell me that they are making a replacement cover. But other than that the refrigerator is really great so far. There is always ice available which is extremely rare for 98 of refrigerators on the market.
