I did a lot of research before purchasing this refrigerator. It is really stunning but also has great features and is really spacious. I was worried the freezer was going to be small but it is deceiving at how much room it has and the ease of reaching everything. I am so glad I made the decision to go with the KitchenAid Counter-depth Platinum Interior Refrigerator.

This was an expensive appliance and we are not crazy about the longetivity of it. The ice maker is very loud - when in use and when not in use. Also, the gasket on the door is already ripping at under 1 year I wouldn't expect this to happen.

Bought this almost 9 months ago and the ice maker still is not working. 3 service trips and the ice maker is still acting up. For this kind of money I could have bought a stand alone ice maker.
