Not enjoying whirlpool appliances

We bought all new appliances when we moved to our new house 4 years ago. We have had numerous repairs to our refrigerator (15ish) and now we are replacing our dishwasher. We didn't think we would need the extended warranty on it. We were wrong! It had a leak from the underside and after we thought we fixed it we apparently didn't and it leaked again and warped our wood floors. We were without s dishwasher for 3 weeks while trying to figure out what to do. Why don't they make good working appliances like they used to?

As others have said, works ok for a bit, but fell apart under 2 yrs. motor went south, ($350) upper adjuster sliders broke. Disappointing inferior quality product.

Have had this dishwasher for over 4 years. This year have spent around $360 in repairs & parts. Replaced rack adjusters top rack & used my own handyman because ABT charges $180 for service call now. Few months later, the cartridges with wheels that move lower rack fell apart. Repair cost was $260 to do the 5 minute job w/parts.Now, rinse aid dispenser is losing the liquid within days. Am having health issues so cannot even get out to look for new dishwasher rather than spend another $300 or more to resolve this issue. No idea what problem isWill never buy another Whirlpool product.

We have had this dishwasher for almost 2 years now and it is extremely disappointing. If you don't use it on a daily basis, it smells bad. It does a terrible job cleaning the dishes (and these are dishes that have been allowed to soak and/or washed off prior to being loaded). Our 15 year old dishwasher did a much better job. If I had wanted a cheap dishwasher, I would have saved $200 bucks and bought a cheaper dishwasher instead of shelling out almost $600 for this piece of junk.

Had this DW for a year and a half now. We have always bought WP products but seems this DW's upper rack is junk. Within the last couple days the upper rack has BROKE Twice! The dark gray support in which the white rollers rest upon have snapped causing the rack to fall. Not very well designed!!!
