Super Quiet Machine!

When we purchased this unit a month ago we were used to an old, loud cleaner. Since having our Maytag, we hardly even notice it's running. And for cleaning, let's just say, "It's the bomb!" (in a quiet way, of course) ;)

Purchased this dishwasher on 05/03/18. Performance is great, very quiet, does a good job on the dishes & silverware. One bad feature in my estimation. The cap for the rinse dispensed is not attached to the unit. It turns & closes in place. I made the mistake of not securing the cap properly, it came off & melted on the heating element. Now, to get a replacement one has to order the whole assembly to get another cap. $44. plus shipping. This is a rip off for a $5. item. For that reason my scores are lower than they probably should be.

Breaks after 2 years with lite usage and Maytag refuses to fix. Rack fixtures just disintegrated and its very common from 3 different sources. Costs $100 to fix each time, every 2 years. The sales staff at the local appliance store were so confused they thought it was under warranty, but turns out only the rack not anything else which is what breaks all the time. Pick a different product and company that will support you.
