Appliances were supplied by my builder, I have always know Maytag to make the best washer and dryer not realizing they had a whole line of appliances yes I know that seems pretty dumbBut the rest of the line is wonderful also.

Great stove made in America.

We have been OVERJOYED with this Maytag electric range!!!The stovetop AND Oven both heat EXTREMELY FAST, three to four times faster than our prior Kenmore; the Oven is HUGE!! Allowing for more items to be cooked effectively; and the cooktop cleans very easily, while resisting scratches IF one follows the included instructions.We are OVERJOYED with this cooktop!!!Folks, when comparing electric range/oven combineations like this one, PLEASE make sure you check the backside of the device for clear & easy venting; and for overall design excellence. I expect anyone who actually looks at the back, like I did, will find the Maytag design Superior to all other consumer-grade oven/cooktops, such as this model!!!This Maytag range/oven was designed extremely well; with multiple vents, and a well-sealed back on the range/oven; and the knobs are intelligently designed; for ease of use, as well as for longevity.The oven cavity itself FAR outpaces its competitors in this class/price range, in the design, and function of the oven cavity, as well as the oven door, and design.The ONLY improvement we could recommend, is a handle-bar for the bottom of stove drawer; one matching the handle bar that exists for the oven would be VERY nice; yet I understand this is already in-place for the higher-end models of this range, that we could not obtain at the time we purchased ours.This is a a GREAT, QUALITY, stovetop/oven device, that is EXTEMELY well-designed, and quite intuitive to use, and easy to clean; given you read the instructions.
