Replacement and Cleaning

To replace the knobs, make sure the knob has the "OFF" position centered at the top. Slide the knob straight off the stem and slide the replacement knob back onto the stem. Do not bend the knobs upwards or downwards, and do not hang towels or other objects on them as this can damage the gas valve shaft. Same process can be used for easy cleaning of the knobs. It is also best to clean the front panel after each use of the range, stove or cooktop. Use a damp cloth and mild soapy water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Rinse with clean water and polish dry with a soft cloth. NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleaners, plastic scouring pads, or oven cleaners on the manifold panel. They will damage the finish on your range, stove or cooktop.

poor quality of control knobs

Three of the five knobs are melted and broken after only two months. I was unable to turn off the stove after the knob was melted and broken The plastic material is not heat resistent. Very likely I will need new knobs again very soon.

I bought the LG gas stove and all melting and two of them dont work and looks like no one has these handles

Weve had our LG gas cooktop for 16 months 3 of 5 knobs have cracked broken LG has discontinued making the knobs so I cant even buy new ones The knobs are cheap plastic have cracked so easily I take very good care of my cooktop now Im afraid to even take the knobs off to clean them LG what are you going to do to address the need for these knobs?
