LG XBOOM Go XG9QBK Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Stage Lighting and up to 24HR Battery

My family loves this portable speaker. Having music outside for parties or yardwork is the best. The sound quality is outstanding whether listening to instrumental music or rock. The battery is long lasting we have not been able to run it down. Its water and dust resistant so we never worry about it being outdoors and my daughter totes it all over our yard. I can always hear and feel the bass and with the matching light show my daughter keeps busy dancing and singing. Since I often use it in the garage I appreciate the bluetooth feature that lets me take calls and control google.

This speaker is awesome. 1st off its so portable and can be taken anywhere like offroading or to the park. The battery lasts all day and does not impact the sound or quality. Since its water resistant and dust resistant I dont worry about using it outdoors. The handle makes it easy to carry around and move. My daughter loves the light show that it puts on and dances every time we start music. I love the feel of the bass. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth capability since I can answer calls and control Google assistant.

I was very excited to get my hands on the LG XG9 Xboom go. There is a flood of speakers out there from known and unknown companies. I like staying with companies I know and I love the LG products I have. I am glad the speaker has a heavy duty handle because it weighs close to 16 lbs and 20 inches wide. With that weight I set my expectations high. Its a solidly built speaker. There are 2 woofers on either side and I believe one cone-shaped tweeter in the housing had to research that. ON the top is power Bluetooth volume up/down play/pause sound boost and lighting buttons. The woofers light up and there is a circle on the rear which is stage lighting both which provide some atmosphere. It states the battery lasts for 24 hours. The XBOOM Go app gives access to what the buttons do and more. If you dont EQ your source you can use the built-in EQ which has 3 settings - standard sound boost or custom EQ with 6 individual slides. There are several lighting settings. You can link up to 10 speakers for partying. Its dust/water resistant with an IP67 rating. This speaker gets pretty loud for a Bluetooth speaker. Im a metalhead so that music pushes volume and bass and the XG9 delivers. I found the cleanest sound was flat source and internal EQ. I EQd Spotify and it got a bit louder with a little more bass but some of the clean sound got buried in it. Dont get me wrong still sounded great. For a 1 channel/2 way speaker I was very impressed with the overall sound. The bass is very impressive the highs crisp and clean. Its a very nice rich sound. I can imagine pairing 2 of these in stereo mode. I went outside to test connection distance and it stayed connected for a much further distance than I was expecting. YEs its portable with the handle and its worth packing along and taking if size isnt a huge issue. For a single Bluetooth speaker this thing rocks. I highly recommend the LG XG9 Xboom Go.

My XG9 Xboom arrived last week right before my Halloween party. I have owned many Bluetooth speakers from small to large and I was impressed when I removed this beast from the box. When I unboxed the speaker it had enough charge to pair it up and start playing music. The pairing of the speaker was seamless and easy. The first song I played on the speaker filled the room with rich tones and bass that I could not hear anyone talking. It was the first time I experienced a portable Bluetooth speaker drowning out peoples voices. This speakers size and price range meet and exceed my expectations. I cant wait to use this for many more upcoming get-togethers and events.

The XG9 Xboom Go is a serious sound machine. It really flexes its muscle when the time comes to get loud. Deep pounding bass will fill the room and the room next door and lights will dance on the woofers and the wall. I had quite a smile listening to some energetic favorite playlists struggling to resist the urge to move to the music. Its easy to tell from the first time picking it up that this is a solid well-built portable speaker. With an IP67 rating its really nice to not worry about splashing a little water on it or carrying it from the car to the party. With a large battery its easy to have a great time with power to spare. This speaker is worth the size and weight for the powerful potential and ability to bring the party with you. Looking forward to more excuses to turn it up and get people moving.
