TV has faulty screen

this tv arrived with a faulty screen. the problem is minor and wasn't immediately noticeable upon receipt. however, after a few weeks i noticed 2 "smudges" on the screen about the size of fingertips that i think are small clusters of dead pixels. the picture quality is good for this tv, except for the aforementioned problem i have with the dead pixels.

the remote is 1 1/4" wide and what few buttons it has doesn't really make any sense, and it's really easy to misplace. i cannot find a remote that can replace this one that is like a normal remote. the picture is amazing, even in most black and white movies as well as color, it's like you're there in the show with them.

a good basic tv would have appreciated clearer set-up instructions but an hour talking to tech support( very pleasant ) got things working would be good to have a better way to adjust width of screen to fit most broadcasts

i gave it one star because i cannot believe the remote that comes with this tv. in fact we were seriously considering returning the tv all because of the remote. i have never seen anything like this in my life and if this is what remotes are coming down to i sure hope not. we have two other samsung tvs that have regular remotes with number buttons. this thing is just awful. a button for netflix, prime video, samsung plus tv. but the circle has no markings so good luck figuring that out even though there’s a manual it’s just stupid.

bought a 43 inch 4k tv model number un43tu8000f. i like the tv however, i have some issues. design: not sure why all tvs now have the feet on the side instead of the middle stand like the older tvs had. i definitely liked the middle stand much better. you could put the tv at an angle much easier. plus i think it looked better. the little feet on the side looks like an after thought. remote: can not add a sony ultra blu ray player to the remote. i go through all the sony choices with no success. i even replaced the hdmi cable to eliminate that as the issue. apps: i am trying to load the frndly tv app, i cannot find it in the app search on the samsung tv.
