Cant get my tv repaired

my tv is 9 mo old and the picture went out. im not getting help from samsung to get it repaired. very poor customer service.

honestly, i will never buy another samsung tv. it takes forever to load up; you cannot cast to it without paying for an app. you cannot update the hulu app. i am not sure if all samsung tv's are like this, but this particular tv is awful if you want to do anything other than watch netflix or amazon prime on it. i plan to only purchase vizio after experiencing this tv. i am not one to write negative reviews, but i have also never hated a tv as much as i hate this one. :(

Unreliable and frustrating

I was frustrated enough to come here and write a one star review, and I never do that. The user interface on this tv is just super sluggish and counterintuitive. The menu is extremely layered (needlessly) instead of simple, and it makes troubleshooting anything SUCH a slow, frustrating process. Beyond that, it’s incapable of running Spotify (for whatever unknown reason). I had to call their support line to get that news. Even though some of the help menu’s shows Spotify as an example of an app you can download. Not sure what the thinking behind that was, but this TV is full of weird, mind-boggling things like that. The TV also won’t open Netflix or Hulu about 30% of the time, and displays an error message. A problem which usually lasts for hours, despite restarting it. The last issue I’m facing with it, is that when I use the YouTube app, the TV skips every video I try to play after 15 seconds. This happens consistently despite troubleshooting. It gets 15 seconds in and then automatically plays the next suggested video. Would definitely recommend a different model, or an alternative like Chromecast/Roku/Firestick.

I bought this TV as a prize for a raffle that helps raise money for our Youth Programs. Thee TV was shipped to my work so it did not get stolen or damaged sitting outside my home in the woods. The box was undamaged so I did not open the box and check the TV until past the "30 days" - really? So, to my surprise when we did open the box the TV screen was broken! After 10 phone calls, an email to Samsung CEO and call back, and a technician visit delivery site, all I received was a sorry and an offer for $25 certificate for my troubles! This is the smalleest cheapest TV that I have ever purchased - glad it wasn't the 98" I was about to buy! I work in TV and we buy allot of them - that will change! - never again Samsung!

No ARC

Great pic but has no way to hook an ARC cable in.....soooo upset! Just bought a Sonos Beam with surround sound and I can't use Alexa....why the heck would Samsung not have ARC on this tv....so mad....I would return the tv but I attached a swivel stand to the tv and it was a pain to put on.....uuugh. so disappointed in Samsung.
