This was the second major KitchenAid appliance that we bought when we bought our house. The quality and beauty of this fridge is so much better than any other brand. We now have only KitchenAid appliances in our kitchen.

Kids are gone, our own new house just for us. After much research we selected all KitchenAid appliances. We are delighted with the small, but thoughtful design features that have been included such as three drawers in the freezer give me a fair chance of finding something without having to ask my wife. Grandkids love it too!

We have had the fridge for two years now. All has been good except this summer it froze up inside and stopped cooling alltogether. We had to remove all the food and shelves in order to use a hair dryer to melt all the ice buildup inside the fridge on and inside the back wall. After that all afternoon procedure ... it has been fine since.

BUYER BEWARE. DONT BUY!

I'm having the same issue many of the other reviewers have had. The back end will frost and freezes up into a giant ice cube behind the bottom drawer and the fridge stops cooling. I've had three service tech calls and one time they even replaced the entire wiring harness, thermostat, fan, etc. Problem still occurs.. Now Kitchenaid tech is saying the motherboard has to be replaced which is going to run me an additional $400 on top of what I have already spent, but reading the other reviews is discouraging because that doesn't sound like it will fix it either. Never buying a Kitchenaid product again.
