Very quiet and cleans well

We’ve put several loads through the first few months. The auto dispense works well and it’s a very quiet machine. The laundry room is right off our family room and we never hear it. Also we love that all the beeps and songs can be disabled!

DO NOT BUY! This washer continually grows black mold in the soap compartment regardless of how often I brush it out with bleach and a toothbrush, it is there within a week. HORRIBLE. This washer was delivered in April 2018, used for only 2 people, maybe 150 loads washed...electronic panel no longer responds. There is currently a load of clothes mildewing in the washer because you can't open the door once the panel stops working. Customer service is useless, they will ask if you have an extended warranty (we did not) and call a technician on your behalf the tech gets a show up fee before they ever tell you what is wrong of if he can fix the issue, then there is a fee to actually fix the issue. NOT TOP OF THE LINE. No reason to spend this kind of money on a brand that advertises longevity with $900 washers dying in less than 2 years. Sad, currently only 2 items are covered on that "amazing" 10 year parts warranty... HORRIBLE.

My washer was purchased mid February. It washes well and spins well, however, the cold water is not cold enough because I understand they want it’s to be 70° and the hot water is not as hot as tapwater because it is not permitted to be in excess of 100°. The cycles take way too long, especially for a delicate wash. I have two major complaints with this washer. My first complaint is that you have to remember to tell the machine to put in the correct amount of detergent.. My second complaint is the mold that grows in the dispenser area of the machine. Make sure to pull out that entire piece I am look up and see if it isn’t moldy. Maytag is a wonderful brand.Remember it is a whirlpool.

Worked great at first. Two year old washer and the auto detergent dispenser fails. Called support only to be told less than what I had already learned from the technician manual under lid. When I explained what was occurring all I got was "It's out of warranty and would I like to pay for a service call. They would do this for me". Service mode worked fine but the dispenser would fill with water and soap would not dispense in normal operation. No resolution to date.
