No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does the job, but having been with the Whirlpool brand (Kenmore included) for about 40 years. It's somewhat disappointing due to higher sound levels and the absence of the inside light, when you open the door. When asking our sales person about the missing light, he said, that he thought all dryers had that as a standard........... We thought so as well....... I did like the ( Made in America sign )

Very happy with this purchase, I just wish there was the option to use the eco dry cycle but turn off the wrinkle shield. Other than that, no complaints.
