Very high power unit but a little loud

We just installed this waste disposer in our home last month and it is very powerful and comes on with a high torque start up, which is somewhat louder than others. While it is running it is also louder than others waste disposers we have had at this HP rating. Overall we are pleased with it as with the high torque startup it does not jam, nor does it seem it will ever jam. It chews through waste very quickly.

Got this installed by the builder in our newly constructed home. Works really well and makes less noise. it did stop working well but a replacement was provided in no time by Fridgidaire.
