It is nice a quiet. I don't like the smell when opening it up after washing. I miss the fold down options of the lower rack that my old one had.

I recently bought a new Maytag dishwasher, one of several Maytags that I have had, and am so disappointed. It is supposed to be the same level of dishwasher as the one I just had but it isn't nearly as good. I could put tons of dishes (without rinsing), pans, etc. in my old one and everything came out clean. I have to be so careful with this one, rinse them before and placing them so carefully and then sometime they still come out not completely clean. I loved my old one. I wish I had just had it fixed! The one plus is that it is very quiet but that quietness is apparently not doing the job.
