I bought this range about a month ago and so far ok, but the only thing that disappoints me very much, is that whirlpool offers very little of manufacturer warranty. But overall i think its too early to say something solid about it. I would say its a good purchase cause i have a good deal but still need to wait until it proves by it self to be a good or bad item. Sorry. Can't say much about it.

Safety Hazard, hidden metal sliced my finger open!

This range has worked fine for me for the year that we had it, however while cleaning it on Thanksgiving, I sliced my finger open. There is a piece of metal tucked underneath the rang top (right above the door handle) that is exposed and is very sharp. Unreal that this item is still on the market.
