I wanted gas, but, alas, there was no gas in the pipe below the cooktop. However, I have become used to this and appreciate the knobs, which makes the cooktop feel more like the gas cooktops I'm used to. I don't understand the area for "warming" because after using the cooktop, that burner is hot for a long time. I need to remember to turn off the electricity of the burner I'm using because, unlike gas, the heat continues for a while.

This was the cooktop that was installed with my kitchen upgrade in my new home. I would have preferred gas. However the functionality of the cooktop has been great. I do not like the glass surface as it is very challenging to keep clean and streak free. As far as the functionality and cooking it has been great.
